Linkin Park have launched a tribute page for their late frontman Chester Bennington.

The landing page, which you can see here, went live late last night (22nd July) and pulls in the latest posts from fans on Twitter and Instagram who have used the #RIPChester hashtag.

Testament to the widespread adulation of Chester, the site features dozens of fresh tributes every minute. So many people tried to access the site when it launched at around 11pm that it was down for several hours due to the weight of the traffic.

Beneath a #RIPChester hashtag, the landing page leads with information on international suicide helplines.

Chester’s body was discovered on Thursday morning (20th July) by an employee at his Palos Verdes Estates home in Los Angeles.

On Friday, Ed Winter, spokesman for the L.A. County medical examiner-coroner, confirmed that Chester had died by hanging himself from a bedroom door.

Linkin Park have cancelled all upcoming tour dates in the wake of Chester’s tragic death including their scheduled co-headline dates with Blink-182.
